Starts on a Error event

Log errors and avoid sending too many emails Use case Most of the time, it’s necessary to log all errors that occur. However, in some cases, a scheduled task or service consuming excessive resources might trigger a surge of errors. To address this, we can log all errors but limit alerts to a maximum of one notification every 5 minutes. What this workflow does This workflow can be configured to receive error events, or you can integrate it before your own error-handling logic. If used as the primary error handler, note that this flow will only add a database log entry and take no further action. You’ll need to add your own alerts (e.g., email or push notifications). Below is an example of a notification setup I prefer to use. At the end, there’s an error cleanup option. This feature is particularly useful in development environments. If you already have an error-handling workflow, you can call this one as a sub-workflow. Its final steps include cleanup logic to reset the execution state and terminate the workflow.

Monitor website changes with PolyDoc screenshots and email alerts

Quick Overview This workflow checks a website URL every 6 hours, detects content changes by hashing the normalized HTML, and when a change is found it uses PolyDoc to capture a full-page screenshot and emails the PNG as an attachment. How it works Runs every 6 hours on a schedule. Sets the target URL to monitor and fetches the page HTML with an HTTP request. Normalizes the HTML (removing scripts/styles/comments), hashes it, and compares it with the previous run stored in workflow static data. If the hash changed, PolyDoc captures a full-page PNG screenshot of the URL. Sends an email with the screenshot attached and the monitored URL in the subject and body. Setup Update the monitored website URL in the Settings step. Add your PolyDoc API credentials to the PolyDoc screenshot step. Configure an SMTP email credential and set the to/from email addresses in the email step.

Send a daily Microsoft 365 update digest with OpenAI GPT-4o-mini via email

Quick overview This workflow runs daily at 07:00 to pull the latest Microsoft 365, Security & Compliance, and Teams blog RSS posts, uses OpenAI (gpt-4o-mini) to triage and format a prioritized HTML digest, and sends the results to your team via SMTP email. How it works Runs every day at 07:00 on a schedule. Fetches RSS XML from three Microsoft Tech Community feeds (Microsoft 365 Blog, Security & Compliance, and Teams/Microsoft Teams Blog) in parallel. Parses the RSS items, keeps only posts from the last 24 hours, and deduplicates updates by title across all feeds. If no new items are found, sends a “no new updates” email via SMTP. If new items are found, aggregates them into a single formatted list for analysis. Sends the aggregated updates to the OpenAI Chat Completions API (gpt-4o-mini) to assign priority/category/action-required and generate an inline-CSS HTML email body. Emails the generated HTML digest to the configured recipients via SMTP. Setup Create an OpenAI API key and add an HTTP Header Auth credential that sets Authorization: Bearer for the OpenAI request. Add an SMTP credential for the email-sending nodes. Update the fromEmail and toEmail fields in both email actions
